Greenbank Park, near Sefton Park is really quite lovely.  It has a large lake that provides local people with a place to relax and fish.

You can take a leisurely walk from Otterspool all the way to the City Centre along the the coastal promenade. On a nice day you take in some outstanding views of the Welsh hills and the Wirral coastline.
