The historic City of Liverpool, with its waterfront built around the most famous docklands in the world, is steeped in maritime tradition. You have to see it all, and the only way is to ride the Duck Tour! The fun begins the second you board your DUCK - an authentic World War II landing vehicle at the Albert Dock, where else?
After the tour of the city you cruise around the Albert Dock and surrounding docks to see the views from the water level.
For us living on Wirral, the two tunnels to Liverpool are a life line. Normally always doing the driving I had a whole day being toured around the city hence the attempt at a photo as we cross the Liverpool Wirral divide. I’ve put this in mainly because it is topical at the moment with Mersey Travel promising to increase fares to £1.40 an increase of 10p. Still though wouldn’t want to have to drive all the way round via Runcorn. Here is a link to the debate.
Walking around the park I was taken to see Peter Pan. He wasn’t there, just a round of stones where he used to stand. Some people thought he had been taken to the Conservation Center in the city. After much ado he turned up to be at the Palm House a short and pleasant walk across the park.

Walking around Sefton Park yesterday without a coat it certainly feels if spring has arrived, we have had the most fabulous week of the year weather wise and I am sure just like these crocuses things have a habit of changing without warning… see what happens tomorrow!
